How to give a unique brand makeover to a successful group of salons to help them stand above the clutter in a crowded salon and spa marketplace?
The client came to us with an ambitious goal: Unify their salons—scattered from northern Wisconsin to Illinois—under one name and one image. An employee contest resulted in the name Indira, a Sanskrit word meaning beauty. As an Aveda salon, Indira focuses on natural, organic ingredients in their products and holistic spa services. Their brand image had to incorporate this philosophy, but at the same time be all their own. Finally, they had to find a tone and manner that spoke to their mostly upscale yet diverse client bases.
Beyond beautiful—in any language. Organic elements such as stone, water and flowering plants have been fused together—complementing the Aveda philosophy—to create a calming yet energizing personality, image and look that serves to unify all the salons, enthuse a varied group of employees and appeal to clients from many different walks of life.
