There have been quite a few radio changes in the past couple years in the Green Bay-Appleton Market. If you’re struggling to keep them straight– here’s a snapshot of the changes.
The most recent change has been from Cumulus in Green Bay, formerly Kicks 104.9 and now The Wolf. The Wolf is simulcasting from its Oshkosh partner 99.5. The radio content in both Green Bay and Appleton will be the same, except for the commercials. Advertisers can still target segments of the DMA through the station by buying only 99.5 or only 104.9, or both for a larger portion of the DMA.
So who’s who in radio now? Who were they back then?
Now: WYDR The Drive 99.7FM, 101.9FM and 94.3FM …. Then: WROE The Bridge
Now: WCHK Chuck 104.3FM, 103.5FM …Then: WECB The Breeze
Now: 93Rock (WRQE) 93.5FM, 93.1FM…Then: WOZZ
Now: WTAQ 97.5FM, 1360AM …Then: WTAQ AM
Now: WKRU 106.7 FM…Then: WZNN The Zone
